What is a news feed?

News feeds are a way for you to read our latest DIY hints and tips in a manner that suits you. You can setup your computer to grab the latest headlines off the site for you to read at your leisure, or you can use any one of a number of online services to gather all your news on all your various interests in a single place.

Our news feed includes weekly hints and tips, as well as full Trade Secrets articles - you can learn something new every time, whether it's how to repair that dripping tap in your kitchen, or completely transform your garden.

How do I use it?

All our news pages now have handy 'Add' buttons along the right of the screen. Clicking any of these should add the Cosy Homes Online news to your favourite site. If you use a service which is not shown, just add the URL '' to your news reader, and make sure you drop us an email so we can add support for it in the future!

If you use the Firefox web browser, you can add a Live Bookmark to your Bookmarks menu. This is acts like a normal bookmark, but it always contains the very latest headlines from this site. To add a live bookmark just click the little Firefox Live Bookmark icon that appears next to our web address.

If you use the Safari browser on a mac, you can view the news by clicking the Safari RSS icon button that appears next to our web address. Add a bookmark to this page to have any new news display automatically.
