Painting a ceiling can be back-breaking and messy work, the following tips can help make your life easier;
- Consider using a painting pad instead of or a roller - you will get far less paint splatter
- Use a ladder that is the right height and one that has a ledge you can use to put your paint on - it saves a lot of effort
- Ventilate the room well - heat and fumes can build up at the ceiling level
- Painting the ceiling a far lighter shade than the walls can make a room seem larger, while painting it darker will make the room seem more cosy. Consider what effect best suits the room you're painting.
