Q: Hi again, Thank you for the advice about the chimney, now would like to ask you about how I go about taking off my radiators so I can get behind them, I am having the room re-plastered by a very nice man who said he could just go as far as he could with the plaster but it would be better if I could take the radiators off, hope you can help, ta from Lyndseyx.

A: Most radiators are easy enough to remove from a physical point of view - many just hang off brackets screwed into the wall. However there is the small matter of all that water, there is a chance you would have to drain the entire heating system to take off a single radiator. It all depends on how your plumbing has been done, if in doubt get a heating engineer in for a quick consultation.
