Quick Tip of the Week
Posted Oct 01, 2007
When bleaching cloths, tea towels and so on, do not leave them in the water for any length of time. The chemicals in the bleach are only effective for 20-30 minutes, and after this time the water provides a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Simply soak the materials for 20 minutes, remove them and then wash them as normal to finish off.
