Compost can work as well as fertilizer in a garden, and the liquid that seeps out of decomposing biodegradable products makes fantastic plant food. Drill a hole in the bottom of your compost bin, or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, install a tap. Collect the liquid waste that seeps out of the bin and use it on your indoor plants or garden.
