When people think of household pests, most often it’s the elusive mice and cockroaches that first come to mind. A more audacious pest is the common ant, an insect that can attack in huge numbers. For a large infestation, chemical pest control solutions are advisable. If you’re only dealing with a small number of ants in a localized area, try placing cinnamon or ground pepper around the ants’ entrance to your home. These spices are too strong for the ants to cross, and your floors and countertops will be free from these swarming bugs.
